Nigeria has seen great producers rule the industry having songs produced by them topping charts and countdowns all over, we have seen the likes of Don Jazzy during the MoHit era producing club bangers like Oliver Twist, Tongolo, Fall in love  to mention a few, we also saw ID Cabaza who made one of Nigerians biggest song Gongo Aso and Street Credibility for 9 ice, we also had the great OJB Jezerel of blessed memory who produced African Queen for 2Baba amongst other great producers like Sarz, Mastercraft, J Sleek, Phellz, Young John, Spellz, Legendary Beat, Gospel, Jesse Jagz, Chopsticks amongst others  to mention just a few. Now fast forward to 2018 the first eight months of the year have seen the arrival of some new producers in the scene with amazing talent and production skill who have had songs produced by them top practically all the music charts and countdowns in the country these new era of Producers include;

1. Killertunez


The first work of Killertunez that I heard was Yeba with Kiss Daniel amazing voice and with the production of the song I knew there was more to the producer of this song. Signed to Cap Music owned by Dj Spinall, Killertunez is one of the new wave producer whose song is always playing on practically on countdowns and music charts both on radio and television with songs like Star boy's Soco

Wizkid Manya

Nowo

Fake Love

amongst others which were all chart toppers.

With his signature tag 'Sabalistica' Killertunez has established himself as one of the producer to listen to with his soft afrobeat sound stamped his name among the Nigerian great producers.

2. Fresh VDM


Bello Emmanuel Adeshina, professionally known as Fresh VDM or Fresh is a Togolese-born Nigerian bred record producer signed to Davido Music Worldwide (DMW).  Fresh had been in the music industry way before he produced the chart topping song FIA for Davido. He worked closely with Dremo before the FIA fame and worked on songs for Mayorkun like Yawa, Love you tire and Prayer amongst others. These year we have seen his production brilliance on DMW songs Aje

also Dj Ecool's Ada and Larry Gagga's Doe amongs other Chart toppers and also His work on Dremo's new Ep, and also Davido's Nwa Baby that is definitely going to top charts soon a song he Co produced with Speroach who is next due on our list.

With his signature tag ‘Damn Fresh On The Beat’ and fast paced tone, laced neatly with Anglo-Francophone influences, Fresh VDM (formerly, has strategically and silently built an impressive production catalogue and placed himself amongst the great of music production in Nigeria.

3. SperoacH


Though new in the game he need just little introduction after producing the chart topping song Assurance for David which was dedicated to Chioma that got everyone wondering who he really was, but after that he has gone further to produce the No 1 song in Nigeria presently Amaka for 2Baba and his friend Peruzzi also he Co produced Nwa Baby with Fresh VDM.


4. Phantom


Most people don't know that the production brain behind one of the best song on Burna Boy's Album Outside. "Ye" was Phantom. The street Anthem that has that Fela Kuti vibe was produced by Phantom.


 Phantom calls himself an Afro Connoisseur, a title rooted on his love of Afrobeats, he sure his one producer that the Nigerian music scene should watch out for.
