Chapter one

There lived a lovely couple called Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Wilson. They were married for ten years but they had no child of their own and this did not make them love each other less. This couple kept praying and asking God for a child they could call their own.

 Mrs. Sandra Gilbert Wilson received lots of insults from her mother in-law and sister in-law and this made her sad most of the time but her darling husband never left her side, he was always encouraging her and reminding her of the promises God made to them in the scriptures and he also told her to keep reading the scriptures and to never relent in prayer.

After much effort Mr. Gilbert Wilson’s friend, Dr. Kayode advised them both to come for a medical checkup at his clinic and they both adhered to the advice by going to the clinic the following Day which was a Saturday. After much test, the Doctor told them that they were both fertile and that nothing was wrong with them both.

Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Wilson cried out to God that night after their visit to the clinic, they both prayed like they had never prayed before.

Few months later, Mrs. Sandra Gilbert fell seriously ill; her husband thought it was malaria symptom so he bought some malaria drugs for her but still the sickness did not subside. Mr. Gilbert had to take her to their family hospital, on getting there the Doctor on duty decided to run some test since Mr. Gilbert already informed him that he had treated her for Malaria. Few minutes later the test results were out and the doctor informed them that Mrs. Sandra was pregnant, the couple was so happy and tears of joy trickled from their eyes.
